Rock in Rio 2022: are you going to the festival? Ask questions about the digital ticket

Tickets cannot be transferred on the day of the show and access to the City of Rock will be digital only

As the first day of performances at Rock in Rio 2022 approaches – the festival starts on Friday 2 -, ask your ticket questions.

For people who have purchased a ticket for someone else, it will not be possible to transfer the ticket on the day of the show – the organizers advise that this must be done by 11:59 pm the day before.

However, it will be possible to archive all tickets on a single mobile phone, as long as they are suitably identified. A technological advantage, which allows the possession of a 100% digital ticket, i.e. paper vouchers, magnetic cards and chip bracelets will not be accepted. Therefore, the only way to enter the City of Rock will be to show your mobile.

Straight: it is not about downloading a PDF and displaying it on the roulette wheel, photographing the card statement or showing the confirmation email: it is necessary to add the ticket to a digital wallet, such as that of Google or Apple, no other way will be accepted. The process must be done entirely on the mobile phone – there’s no point trying to open it on your computer.

The organizers recommend not waiting for the day of the show to download or send the tickets.

Those who already have the ticket saved in the digital wallet of their mobile will notice a change in the layout. This is the version enabled to be used in the turnstiles that will give access to the City of the rock. The update will be transmitted automatically. If you don’t notice any difference the day before the event, it’s worth checking if the automatic update option is enabled on your device.

If you need the help of the festival team in the event of a problem, it is essential that the fan has his identity documents with original photos and CPF, as well as his order details. And, if the ticket is half price, access will only be allowed upon presentation of proof of benefit.

The digital ticket allows access to the City of the rock and, if the device is compatible with NFC – a technology that transfers data by approximation -, simply enable the function and bring it close to the turnstile. Android users will also be able to generate a QR Code which will be read directly at the turnstile.

It is also recommended to be very careful when purchasing tickets from third parties. As the ticket will be digital, downloaded from Google Wallet, do not accept paper tickets. Remember that it is necessary to have a registered account on the website www.entry.com.
