John Lennon’s killer denied probation for the twelfth time

Sentenced to life in prison for the murder of musician John Lennon, Marco David Chapman67 years old, she was denied parole for the twelfth time.

In prison for more than four decades, Chapman claimed to be an obsessed fan of the artist and the Beatles and was convicted after shooting the singer as he walked in with his wife., Yoko Ono, at his apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side on December 8, 1980.

At the time, the killer claimed to have killed Lennon for his fame, but recently admitted that he regretted committing the crime.
