The original text of the 1972 classic Star manhandwritten by David Bowieit sold for £ 203,500 (around 1.17 million reais) at a UK auction on Tuesday 27, according to music-related sales specialist Omega Auctions.

The text, which started the auction at $ 44,600, is written in blue ink on a squared A4 sheet.
The manuscript shows the changes made by Bowie and his spelling corrections.
The song, included in the album Ziggy stardustthe success of the British singer, speaks of the “Starman waiting in the sky” and hopes to meet humans.
The document was exhibited in 2013 in a retrospective at the Victoria & Albert Museum dedicated to the singer, who died in January 2016 at the age of 69.
The buyer is a private collector whose identity has not been disclosed.
