One of the big names in Brazilian pop, singer and songwriter Lulu Santos the president-elect asked Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) that a secretariat be created to deal with community issues LGBTQIA+.
In response, the hitmaker in Modern times and Homereceived a positive signal from future ministers Silvio Almeida and Flavio Dinowhich will be responsible for the folders of Human rights and justicerespectively.
Lulu Santos said that Brazil “continues to be the country that kills the most LGBTQIA+ people” and needs a secretariat for changes to be made to improve this scenario.
“I wanted to remind the new Minister of Justice that our country continues to be the one that kills the most LGBTQIA+ people”started Lulu Santos. “And that perhaps in this new Ministry of Justice there would be a secretariat to deal with this matter”said the legendary musician of 69 years old.
