In an interview with BBC Radio Wales (via NME), Santa revealed how he thought about the partnership: “As ‘Pretty Boy‘ developed, began to resemble the golden age of The Cure. It was one of those ideas you used to get in the middle of the night, I wondered if Robert Smith would get involved in it.”
“I asked him and sent him the track. He loved it and remixed it. And I loved it. We had never met before, never talked. But I’ve always been a fan of The Cure and the remix sounds identical to The Curecontinued Gallagher praising Smith.
