Known for playing Will Byers in the hit Netflix, the actor spoke about his sexuality at the beginning of the year
Noah Schnapp, actor who plays will in Stranger Thingsrevealed earlier this year that he is gay and his grandfather reacted with an emotional message:
Hey Noah, I heard about your public announcement about being gay. I just want you to know that I love you all the same and I’m glad you’re open and being yourself. Just be proud of who and what you are.
“Iris [avó] and I stand by your honesty and ability to express your true self! I love you to the moon and back. Followed by lots of hearts and kissing emojis.”

In this ocasion, Noah used social networks to talk about his sexuality at the beginning of the year. In a video posted on TikTok, the artist even joked about it:
“When I finally told my friends and family I’m gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know,’” he wrote in the video. “I think I’m more like the will than I thought”, he joked Schnappin the caption of the post.
Fans showed their support for the actor, but also joked about the similarities between Noah It is Will Byers. It turns out that since Stranger Things premiered on Netflix, many fans theorize about the character’s sexuality — who, on stage, never spoke openly about the topic. To many, however, it seems obvious that Will Byers is part of the LGBTQ+ community and who, especially after the fourth and most recent season of the plot, has deep feelings for his best friend, Mike Wheeler.
