Curve: This 2015 survival is a hit on Netflix
Quite often on Netflix, sometimes hidden movies find new life once online. This is for example the case with curveA 2015 thriller never released in France, which has risen directly to the top of the most watched films on the platform. Directed by Iain Softley (Hackers), tells the nightmare experienced by Mallory (Julianne Hough), a young woman who crosses the United States by car to join her future husband and who finds herself the victim of a dangerous psychopath.
The man, initially attractive and understanding, had helped her fix the car and, unaware, the young woman had then offered to drive him to his destination. But once on board, the trap had closed on the latter. In a desperate move, she had pushed the car into a ditch to try to get rid of the intruder, and found herself stuck in her car, while her captor escaped alive. Then began a long struggle for survival…
Julianne Hough (Mallory) made her Harry Potter debut
Wear curve, actress Julianne Hough was cast. She is an all-round artist, she is also a dancer and singer and has notably participated in the show Dance with the stars in the United States where it won the fifth and sixth seasons. She had also become there younger dancer to win the show (18 at the time).
But her acting career started much earlier, in 2001, when she was 13 years old. Indeed, Julianne Hough participated in the first film Harry Potteras an extra. Gryffindor student, we can notably see him cheering Harry on during the Quidditch tournament.
