In the evening at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles was held the 95th Academy Awards ceremony. Oscar night 2023, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel who returned to management for the third time after the 2017 and 2018 editions, is led by Everything Everywhere Everything at once (here’s our review), the Daniels film won 7 Oscars out of 11 nominations.
The film by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, in addition to Best Film, won some of the most coveted awards of Oscar Night as Best Director – actually directors in this case and Best Actress. But the surprises do not end there, the Oscars 2023 in fact saw success the German film by Netflix Nothing new on the western frontwhich ranks second as the most awarded film with 4 statuettes including Best International Film.
The movie of Darren Aronofsky The Whale taking home two awards, including the Best Actor award Brendan Fraser. Just one prize instead for last year’s two blockbuster movies: Avatar – The Way of Water And Top Gun: Maverick. Instead, they came out empty-handed at the Oscars 2023 The Fabelmans by Steven Spielberg e The Spirits of the Island by Martin McDonagh.
