A huge Oscar-winning actor who built his career on unusual and eccentric characters, William Hart has died at the age of 71. Many tributes in Hollywood greet his memory.
A prolific and unclassifiable actor who has played under the direction of Lawrence Cassdan, Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott, M. Knight Shamalan, or David Cronenberg. Also in 1986 at Cannes he was awarded the Interpretation Prize, William Hart died this week at the age of 71.
