Aerosmith’s Stephen Tyler Has Been In Treatment Since His Last Relapse

Aerosmith frontman Stephen Tyler enters the medical center. The band made a statement on Tuesday, revealing that its singer had voluntarily checked himself into a rehabilitation center after undergoing leg surgery.

As such, the Rockers will no longer skip the June and July dates of their upcoming Las Vegas residency.

“As many of you know, our beloved brother Stephen has worked hard for many years. “After undergoing leg surgery to prepare for the stage and needing to manage pain in the process, she just relapsed and volunteered for a treatment program to focus on her health and recovery,” Aerosmith said in a statement. communicated on social media. “We are very sad to announce to our fans and friends that we have to cancel the first set of Las Vegas residency dates in June and July before the focus is on their well-being.”

“We will extend the 2022 dates starting in September and notify you of further updates as soon as we can,” they said in a statement. “We are devastated to have caused so much discomfort to so many of you, especially our most loyal fans, who often travel long distances to see our shows.

Aerosmith did not indicate whether they would schedule any of their summer dates, but did inform fans that Ticketmaster tickets will be back soon. The show’s cancellation comes amid the cancellation of an Aerosmith European tour in January due to COVID-19 concerns; These sets were also scheduled for June and July. “We are deeply saddened to announce that our European tour, scheduled for June and July 2022, has been cancelled,” the Facebook group wrote on January 31.

The fall installment of Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild is expected to continue as scheduled at Las Vegas Dolby Live at Park MGM starting September 14th. The residency has planned two dates for October, five dates for November, and four dates for December.
