For the first time in his career, Martin Scorsese brings together his two favorite actors in a feature film. If Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio have already given the answer Secret wounds AND simple secrets, The flower moon killers finally marks their first joint collaboration with the director of Taxi driver, wild bull, Infiltrate AND The Wolf of Wall Street.
The flower moon killers is based on the work of the same name by American journalist David Grann and returns to the murders of Osage tribesmen in Oklahomain the early 1920s. Crimes committed by rancher William Hale (Robert De Niro), with the help of his nephews Ernest (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Bryan Burkhart (Scott Shepherd), to take possession of the oil discovered on their land.
Lily Gladstone and Jesse Plemons are also part of the cast of this highly anticipated feature film. The film crew will be on the Croisette next May to present it at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.

As the festival approached, frustration began to set in that they were entitled to only one picture of the project, which Lily Gladstone and Leonardo DiCaprio are sitting on.
On Twitter, Apple TV has therefore decided to react to calls from Internet users by revealing three unpublished photos. In the first, Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio are apparently immersed in a heated discussion. The second is a production photo of Lily Gladstone talking to Martin Scorsese on a pew. Finally, the last one shows Lily Gladstone and Leonardo DiCaprio again, this time outdoors, in full complicit moment.
What reinforces the expectation and excitement around the feature film, which shows a duration of 3h26. A project that therefore promises to be a great criminal fresco, an exercise in which Martin Scorsese obviously has nothing left to prove. The movie will come out in French cinemas on October 18, 2023before being released on the Apple TV+ platform.
