Juanes presents “Vida Cotidiana”, his long-awaited and acclaimed new albumwith which the return to its essence continues, merging pop and rock with Latin American rhythms.
Winner of 27 Grammys and Latin Grammys, the singer talks about love, marriage, family, his country and his community in this brand new work, which has 11 songs.
“I think this is my best album as a musician, songwriter and artist. All of my previous experiences are certainly valid, but stepping out of your comfort zone and feeling out of place can be a transformative experience” , said Juanes.
And he added: “This new session returns to the places that are closely linked to my essence… The current sounds and themes that come from the depths of my heart and soul.”
Moreover, the Colombian also features the video for “Cecilia”with Latin music legend Juan Luis Guerra, dedicated to Juanes’ wife, Karen Cecilia MartÃnez.
The clip is played primarily by Karen Martinez and the couple’s daughters: Luna and Paloma, while vacationing on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, and includes a personal serenade via Facetime by Juan Luis Guerra, and ends with an appearance by Juanes and his son Dante, bringing the whole family together.
