Emmy Rossum auditioned for a major role in Marvel and admits she was “devastated” when she didn’t get it.

All Hollywood actors have these missing roles, and Shameless student Emmy Rossum is no exception. I can’t find myself here. … I was still absolutely [devastated,] because you know, go through the process to make a trial contract. You imagine yourself to be your life and you know when it starts. But now Marvel’s First Family is joining the MCU, so Rossum may have another chance for the role. Sure, she could have stiff competition from Mara, Bryce Dallas Howard and Emily Blunt, or other actresses who have been proposed for the role of the Invisible Woman.
