Now, the star has asked the industry to hollywood give “more space” to non-binary artists at award shows.

About the genre itself, ramsey explained how “I don’t care about pronouns,” and has no qualms about being called “she” or “he.” During an interview with vanity fairrevealed how he had an “uncomfortable” experience when signing up for the Emmy 2023as well as citing how there are more changes to make non-binary actors feel welcome and represented.

“Categories at the moment seem extremely gendered with the surrounding language,” he said. Furthermore, ramsey commented on how she applied for the actress category. “I don’t want language limitations in categories to be a reason why non-binary actors like me can’t be celebrated.”

And it might open up a conversation about what it’s like – as long as I know it’s not ideal, but also that finding alternatives is really complex.

“For [pessoas não binárias] having a say and being part of those discussions and conversations, that’s really important,” continued Bella Ramsey. “I just hope there is more space for non-binary people to be recognized in the categories [futuras].”
