Winona Ryderinterpreter of Joyce Byersreflected on the growth of the “children” of the cast of Stranger Things. Actress praised colleagues and highlighted how they were always mature and responsible during filming of the series Netflix.
“Obviously we’ve worked with them for eight years now – most of them – but I’m in awe of them. The Hollywood Reporter (via Screen Rant).
“I have very mixed feelings about kids in the industry – I was one – and I’m proud of who they are, who they’ve become. I remember telling them, ‘Work is the reward. You’re doing it for the moments on screen.’ And they understand and they remind me of that when the routine feels a little heavy,” he continued.
The main characters of Stranger Things, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Mike (Finn Wolfhard), are played by young people, who grew up during production.
“There’s a lot of purity in kids that age, there was something special. These kids, in particular, get me down for being so kind and amazing,” he added.

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Hopper (David Harbour), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Steve (Joe Keery) and more will be present.
The fourth season arrives in the catalog of Netflix in two blocks: the first arrived on May 27, and the second arrives on July 1. According to the streaming platform’s official synopsis: “It is not all good news for our ‘American’; he is stranded far from home in the snowy desert of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human… and others.”
