Continuing a series of introspective and reflective releases, the young and talented artist performs with “Idealizar”, his new song and music video.
As in his previous song “Mamá”, Santy once again demonstrates his talent as a composer, with frank lyrics and intense phrasing.
“Idealize”, with lyrics and production by Santy-P and Federico Iván Mitteröder, is about love and disappointment.
While the video for the song, directed by Whaire and produced by Never Broke Films, contrasts the emotionally charged lyrics with a cold, stripped-back urban setting.
“Idealize is a song that talks about how we sometimes idealize people; It’s a letter to apologize to someone I’ve grown distant from and blamed for a long time,” Santy-P explained.
And he added: “You shouldn’t idealize people because no one is perfect, and believing that you will never be wrong can lead to great disappointment.”
