Fans of Kaley Cuoco’s gripping comedy-drama, Hostess, I saw the second season of one of best HBO Max shows finish recently. And while many are probably still thinking about how Cassie di Cuoco overcame this incredible Hostess finale of the second season , you can bet that many others have already moved on to expect a third season. Now, Cuoco has opened his thoughts on another season of his hit series.
What did Kaley Cuoco say about directing The Flight Attendant season 3?
Although Kaley Cuoco has certainly enjoyed great professional success before, as she was a member of The Big Bang Theory problem throughout his journey, Hostess brought him the biggest success of his career. Cuoco earned his first Emmy nomination (OR his first Golden Globe nomination ) as an actress for her role as “thrill junkie” Cassie Bowden, so it would be natural to assume that Cuoco is eager to return for more high-flying adventures. Now I’m like, ‘Well, we did two. We probably should have finished. And I think I was outnumbered with that thought. There is certainly interest in doing a third season. I think for me, at this moment, the plane has landed. I think I need a minute. I feel like we just finished. Some of my favorite TV shows take a while to come back, and then I’m really excited about a new season. I want to make sure the fans are excited and that we don’t put too much pressure on them.
I know it sounds like bad news, but let’s think about what Cuoco is saying here. First of all he would like to take a little break, at least in Cassie’s life, and if you’ve seen the last two seasons of Hostess, you can probably see why. She had to go through some tough things on the show, which Cuoco also produces and worked hard to bring to TV in the first place, and of course with many other projects now on Cuoco’s plate would like to focus on something else for a while.
Plus, while she knows that fans, the streamer, and perhaps others working on the show would like to continue, Cuoco also seems to want to make sure they don’t force the story just to get things going. Showrunner Steve Yockey said something similar when asked Hostess Season 3, noting that they have no problem finding wild cases that Cassie might be involved in, but that “it is more difficult to tell their emotional story”. Cuoco continued:
I mean, we’ve done a lot this season. Even in the eight episodes, we left such a mark on history that I thought, well, what can we do now? So it will take a lot of thought to make sure that if we come back, it will be better than the last two, which is very difficult to do. I think the writers and crew did a great job of putting together a nice story arc. But if you were to open the arch, it would be fine.
Watch? Kaley Cuoco really isn’t versus the idea of getting more viewers just wants to make sure they have a strong story for Cassie if they do. After all, let’s not forget that Hostess Plot of the first season it was based on the book of the same name, so it was difficult to start from scratch to give us the second season. There is nothing wrong with enjoying what we have Hostess so far, and waiting to see if Cuoco, Yockey and the rest of their team can come up with a story worthy of a third season.
