Stranger Things 4: Volume 2 will ‘punch the heart’ of the audience, says director

According to Shawn Levy, Volume 2 of the Netflix series is ‘exciting and cinematic’

The first volume of the fourth season of Stranger Things finally made it to the catalog Netflix last Friday, 27, and shook several fans. However, according to director Shawn Levy (Free Guy: Taking Control, The Adam Project), the public can expect a “punch straight to the heart” in the two chapters of the fourth year of the production created by the brothers duffer.

In an interview given to The Hollywood Reporter, Levywho directed the episodes “The monster and the superhero” and “dear Billy,” revealed conversation with brothers duffer. “[Matt e Ross Duffer] They said, ‘You know what? Answers sound good’. Now is the time. It’s time to explain everything,” he said. “This repositions everything we know about evil into Hawkins and supernatural villains. It certainly serves as a springboard for what comes next.”

Then the director talked about what to expect from the Volume 2 in Stranger Things 4but not its many details: “The final two chapters are as gripping as they are cinematic. Holy shit, they really are a treat for the eyes, but they punch straight to the heart. So I’ll just talk about that.”

And the fifth season?

Netflix announced as the fifth season of Stranger Things will be the last. About this subject, Shawn Levy a possible happy ending. “It will be bittersweet for us to shoot and for the audience to see, but we hope it will also be deeply satisfying, because we all know, as fans of other shows, that few feelings are so bad when an ending disappoints,” he said.

There’s not the slightest chance that we’ll give anything less than a satisfying ending to our loyal fans.
