Apple TV+ series in which Tom Holland plays Danny Sullivan, The Crowded Room did not please specialized critics
In projects outside the marvel cinematic universe (MCU), Tom Holland he wasn’t so lucky and took part in some highly criticized projects. The most recent production with the actor, The Crowded Roomis available on Apple TV+ and collected several negative reviews – and he defined it as “kick in the face.”
The series’ official synopsis reads: “An engrossing thriller told through a series of interviews conducted by the curious interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), the life story of Danny (holland) reveals himself, revealing elements of his mysterious past and the twists and turns that will lead him to a discovery that will change his life.” The cast also features Emmy Rossum (candy), sasha lane (Aryan), Emma Laird (Annabelle), Christopher Abbott (stan), between others.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the British actor addressed the criticism of the series, which still had him executive produce. Second Tom Hollandit is quite difficult to get it produced to manage the bad reception.
It was a kick in the face. Scrolling through the reviews, I suddenly thought, ‘Wow. That’s a bad review.’ Sometimes there’s a redeeming quality to it. There was nothing.
