Governor Ron DeSantis Used Peaky Blinders Character for Homophobic Video Narrative
Governor of Florida since 2019, Ron DeSantis published homophobic video, with excerpts from the series peaky blindersduring the presidential campaign for elections scheduled for 2024. Now, the production of the series has spoken out on social networks and denounced the politician.
The video in question has a homophobic narrative with images of characters considered “macho,” such as Thomas Shelby (peaky blinders) It is Jordan Belfort (the wolf of Wall Street).
