Blunted Vato presents “Normal”, his new single

Blunted Vato returns with “Normal”, his new singlean ode to his daily life with sounds from the 90s that recall a whole generation of artists who marked his childhood.

With “Normal”, in addition, Blunted Vato allows us take a look through the peephole of his life, imagine his neighborhood as a video game scenario in which, as he says himself, he walks with demons but he is blessed. Letters and sounds that take us on a journey through time, a G-Funk that serves as a vehicle for him to tell what he sees and what happens on a given day in his life.

“Normal” is produced by his regular beatmaker Young Pei and recorded at the Santa Marta studio in Buenos Aires, an absolute sign that hip hop is stronger than ever.

Blunted Vato surprises again with the most distinctive sounds of hip hop, as well as the always characteristic fusion of its American influences and Latin rhythms who he also grew up with.

The video for “Normal” is directed by Nico Benac, and is a lowrider ride through Blunted Vato’s neighborhoods and life, from childhood to the present day. They transform their neighborhood into a flesh-and-blood version of the GTA video game, in which the main actors are Blunted Vato and his friends, as well as the mischievous children they once were.
