Due to the strike of actors and writers, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences had to reschedule the 2023 Emmy ceremony
Top awards for films and television series of hollywood, Emmy 2023 was officially postponed to 2024 due to the actors and writers strike.
In a post on social media, Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, responsible for producing the award, confirmed how the ceremony will take place on January 15. It was originally supposed to be on September 18, 2023. See below:

Elton John is nominated for Emmy Awards and approaches EGOT status
Four days after performing their last show, Elton John received an Emmy Award nomination. The list of nominees this Wednesday (12) placed the singer in the category Best Variety Special (Live) for its Disney+ variety show Elton John: Farewell From Dodger Stadium (Live).
Elton John: Farewell From Dodger Stadium (Live) presents the last show of John in North America as part of the tour Farewell Yellow Brick Road.
