Wonder Woman 3: Gal Gadot got a little too excited
While actress Gal Gadot, famous for her role as Wonder Woman in the first two films, had recently hinted that the third installment was in development, new information has cast doubt on this announcement.
According to informed sources, despite Gal Gadot’s claims that DC officials James Gunn and Peter Safran assured her they would work together on Wonder Woman 3, it would seem that this is not the case. Indeed, variety reports that according to these sources, no sequels are currently in development at DC Studiosand neither Gunn nor Safran are planning any superhero projects in the new DC Universe, with the exception of their already announced prequel series, lost paradise.

Gal Gadot hinted in an interview with ComicBook.com That Wonder Woman 3 could emerge.
I love playing this role (…) From what I heard from James and Peter, we will develop the third film together
she said.
However, sources cited by Variety say that nothing has been promised to Gal Gadot regarding this third chapter, and that there has been no definitive discussion on the continuation of the character in the new DC Universe.
James Gunn and Peter Safran, who presented the first titles of their new DC Universe at the beginning of the year, seem focused on other projects. In particular, they are preparing to launch the production of the highly anticipated Superman: Legacy.
