Jason Reitman, director of the lucky one Ghostbusters: Legacyhas announced the working title of the announced sequel is now referred to as Ghostbusters 4.
The announcement comes on the occasion of Ghostbusters Day 2022, which also provides further confirmation of what was seen in the post-credits scene of Pamana. The next film’s working title Ghostbusters is in fact ‘Firehouse‘, a term used to denote fire stations and, in this particular case, the well-known Ghostbusters headquarters in Manhattan. In a post published on his Twitter profile, Reitman released an image of the barracks with a caption showing a – albeit small – clue about the new film:
“The last time we saw Ecto-1, it was back in Manhattan: the home of the Ghostbusters. This is where our story begins. The code name is FIREHOUSE“
So far the historical details are still very few, however it seems certain that ours will return to their historic headquarters. You will see the post of Jason Reitman follow below:

In recent months, Reitman has hinted at the possible return of a well -known franchise villain, Vigo is the Carpathianwho debuted as the main villain in Ghostbusters IIwhich only appeared in other media of the franchise as an ‘iconic animated series The Real Ghostbusters and in the 2009 video game Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Just talking about the second cinematic chapter of the franchise on the podcast Happy, Sad, ConfusedReitman left open a glimpse of the character’s return:
“There is plenty of time and opportunity for Vigo the Carpathian to return. Would you tell me that what is seen in the film is the only existing image of Vigo? Maybe someone else, where he might be riding, or maybe someone is slapping him. “
In the film, Vigo von Homburg Deutschendorf he is described as a tyrant of the Carpathians who was born in 1505 and died in 1610 at the age of 105 at the hands of the same common people he annoyed. In the film we see that he is trying to pick up the baby Oscarson of a Dana Barrettto return to life in physical form.
So far the next movie of Ghostbusters no official release date yet.
