The return of Goose bumps
After a first series and two feature films with Jack Black, RL Stine’s cult books are getting a new adaptation. Developed by Nicholas Stoller (Our worst neighbors, Platonic) and Rob Letterman (Goosebumps – The Movie, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu), Goose bumps is set in a small American town that is particularly quiet, at least on the surface.
New literature teacher, Nathan Bratt (Justin Long), moves into a house known to be haunted, where atrocities have been committed, as revealed in the trailer. He finds himself quickly possessed by the ghost of a young man, who tries to satisfy his thirst for revenge. At the same time, a group of teenagers are confronted with increasingly strange and terrifying events, most notably crossing paths with an evil puppet. They also discover that their parents are hiding terrible secrets and are involved in sordid affairs.
Rachael Harris, Rob Huebel, Isa Briones, Ana Yi Puig, Zack Morris, Will Price and Miles McKenna complete the cast of the program. The series consists of ten episodes. Series Goose bumps is to be discovered from October 13, 2023 on Disney+. In the meantime, watch the trailer at the top of the article.
