“I wanted you to know what was going on,” Bieber began. “Obviously, as you can see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. “It is this virus that is attacking my ears and facial nerves and paralyzing my face.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay-Hunt syndrome occurs when a shark case affects the facial nerve near the ear. It can cause painful rashes, as well as paralysis and hearing loss. Bieber noted that he needs to rest for a period of time and try to fully regain his health so he can perform again.

“I will recover,” he assured his followers. “All these facial exercises I do to get the face back to normal and back to normal. It’s just time and we don’t know how long it will be. But everything will be fine, I hope. I believe in God. I’m sure it’s going to happen… everything is for a reason, I’m not sure how it is now.”

“But in the meantime, I’m relaxing and I love you,” he concluded. “Peace.”

The all-star tour was originally scheduled to start in 2020, but due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, it was pushed back first to 2021 and then again to 2022.
