Frozen: Elsa and Anna superstars
When it hit screens in 2013, the film Snow Queen it’s an explosion. A huge success in theaters ($1.3 billion in revenue), it became the biggest hit of all time for an animated film. Unlike classic Disney cartoons, Snow Queen It stands out for the absence of a great antagonist and above all for the absence of the traditional romantic story between the heroine and a prince. It places more emphasis on sisterly love through the story of Elsa and Anna.
Frozen 3: where is the movie?
The success of the sequel, released in 2019 (which surpassed the first part at the box office), demonstrated how attached the public was to their story. In Frozen 2, we find our favorite heroines facing new challenges. This time they leave searching for the origin of Elsa’s powers, which leads them to an enchanted forest, far from Arendelle. Accompanied by their faithful friends, they discover the secrets of their past and the history of their kingdom.
After two very successful films (which will even have a separate space at Disneyland), it is therefore logical that a third part was announced by Disney in 2022. And today, finally, we have the news of the return of Elsa and Anna!
In fact, Jennifer Lee, the director of the saga, was present at the BFI London Festival this Thursday 5 October. She then took the opportunity to argue Frozen 3 with great news: the project is progressing very well (and very quickly).
