Tomi Lago presents “Si Supieras”, a new tango of his authorship, co-composed with Joaquín Plada.
On the audiovisual level, this is the second part of the trilogy produced by Belén Asad.
“If you knew” is a love song, a love that ended, perhaps, too soon. The lyrics of this tango include new lunfardos (“And this old account you charge me blue”) and are arranged by Bruno Mazzitelli.
Production and mixing were entrusted to Matías Cella (Jorge Drexler, Zoe Gotusso and Natalia Lafourcade, among others).
The video was directed by Belén Asad. And the film immerses itself in images that evoke the film “Sur”, in a deep Barracas, with characters that illustrate today’s world.
Tomi Lago will present his new album with El Consorcio, his group, on December 14, at the Richards Cultural Center (Honduras 5272). And tickets are now on sale.
