Friends: Jean-Claude Van Damme is ashamed of his cameo

Friends: the record-breaking episode

Contrary to what many might think, the episode of Friends the most watched of all time is not the last of the series, but an episode of the second season. The one who finds his monkey part 1 and part 2, holds this record for a simple reason: it was broadcast immediately after the Superbowl on American television (it is also called The one after the Superbowl in the original version) on January 28, 1996. It was thus seen live by almost 53 million viewers (compared to 52 million for the last episode of the series).

It is also the episode with the most guest stars. In both parts, in fact, he appeared alongside the actors of Friends : Brooke Shields, Chris Isaak, Julia Roberts and of course Jean-Claude Van Damme.

The latter plays his role in the disaster film “Notice 2” alongside Marcel, Ross’s monkey, who has become a real Hollywood star. It is on the set that he meets Rachel and Monica who are both fascinated by the “Brussels muscles”. And while it was Monica who initially had a crush on him, eventually in the end it was Rachel who got a date, which led to an argument between the two best friends.
