Mrs. Web : a first trailer for the Marvel film
Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for Mrs. Web. And the least we can say is that the result is perplexing. Without being visually awful, the promotional video is particularly unclear regarding the plot and connections between characters, although several hypotheses could be made.
In any case, we know that we will see the feature film Dakota Johnson playing Cassandra Webb in a style very far from that of the comics. She will have the ability to see the future and establish a bond between different characters associated with Spider-Man through their spider-derived power. All this is still very vague, but in the end this is not what the public seems to have remembered.
This passage in the Amazon that makes you laugh
In fact, as soon as the trailer of Mrs. Web revealed, we saw Internet users ironically repeating a dialogue from the film, to underline the ridiculous side of the joke. This is when Cassandra brings up her past as a mother and says, “He was in the Amazon with my mother, who was studying spiders, shortly before she died“.

A detail that evidently was a lot of fun and gave inspiration many deviations on X (formerly Twitter). Our favorites, adding the phrase Oppenheimer or inside Star Warsto discover below:
Some users are even content to simply post the dialogue without adding anything, considering it ridiculous enough as it is.
I’m not sure Sony Pictures expected such a reaction with the trailer Mrs. Web. But there is no such thing as bad publicity after all. Perhaps, precisely because of this sentence, the public will flock to see the film in theaters. It will be released in France on February 14, 2024, starring Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced and French actor Tahar Rahim.
