At the end of revenge
John Wick: Chapter 4, released in 2023, concludes in apotheosis John Wick’s revenge, which began in 2014 with the first film, and the cowardly murder of his dog. The situation is trying for the character, but it was also for his actor Keanu Reeves, as revealed by director Chad Stahelski.

In a long article by New York Times back in March 2023 behind the scenes of filming this sequence, Chad Stahelski shared several details. Of which, apparently, the real tiredness of the actor at the idea of having to do these shots again and again on the 222 steps what do these scales mean?

Keanu Reeves, who had previously spoken on the pages of Total Film, in view of the cinema release of John Wick 4it therefore evoked, not surprisingly, an extremely physical role.

So physical that perhaps it was too much for the actor, now 59 years old? For the moment the saga is on pause, and has come to an end John Wick 4 leaves a very small hope of seeing him again in a fifth film, Keanu Reeves is currently enjoying an indefinite and well-deserved rest.
