“Retracing My Steps” is Koino Yokan’s new album, a set of songs that tell of a resilient context in which, when they thought that what they had built was collapsing, they regained strength and started walking again, with a different direction and conquering new spaces but without stopping moving forward. Now the road is waiting, all that remains is to keep walking!
This version includes 16 songs, some of which we already knew this year: “The Trap and the Blue of Me”, plus “The Coincidence”, “What’s Going to Come”, “The Call of the Sun”, “In Another Part” and ” Perfect”, belonging to his latest EP.
The revelation duo never stops surpassing themselves. After selling out three Teatro Vorterix, they released “El Llamado del Sol”, an EP and a preview of what would later become “Desandando Mis Pasos”, and performed a magnetic show at the Gran Rex to a packed house, where they enjoyed the best songs from their repertoire with luxury guests such as El Zar, Santi Muk, Alan Sutton and Juanchi Baleiron.
Formed in October 2018 by Tomás Otero (vocalist) and Jeremías Oro (bassist, guitarist, keyboardist and producer), Koino Yokan continues to grow by leaps and bounds.
And so it proves your diary for the coming months with presentations in the hall of the Carnival Museum, Montevideo, Uruguay (December 8); in La Maroma, Santa Rosa, La Pampa (December 14); at the Bailotaje complex, Bahía Blanca (December 15); Glow, Tandil (December 16); Cosquín Rock, Córdoba (February 11); Tour of Spain (February 21, 23, 24 and 25) and Lollapalooza Argentina, Buenos Aires (March 16).
