After making an impression on Canal+ with Anti-disturbanceit is on Prime Video that we will soon find the actress Vicky Luengo. The actress will always be an investigator in Red Queen. Only this time her mission won’t be to study the behavior of police officers accused of violence, but to arrest a serial killer. In Red Queenplays Antonia Scott, who with her IQ of 242 he is the smartest person on the planet.

Coming from an experimental police program called “Red Queen”, she had been sidelined from the service. Her former boss, however, will take her back investigate violent murders and the kidnapping of the richest man in Spain. To help him in her investigation, Antonia will have to team up with Jon Gutiérrez, an angry police officer played by Hovik Keuchkerian.

A thriller based on a novel

Prime Video revealed the trailer of Red Queen (video on the first page of the article). As you might expect from the description of the two characters, Antonia and Jon are two opposites who, at first, don’t particularly like each other. But their mission will be more important, because the killer is obviously very organized, intelligent and determined. The video offers a glimpse of some of his sordid murders that are expected to leave their mark. Additionally, we note some visual choices. We’ll see indeed Red Queen what Antonia thinks and her analysis of the events, a bit like Sherlock Holmes. His extraordinary intelligence allows him to see surprising things…

Red Queen promises to be enthralling. We are promised a gripping thriller. Note that we owe this creation to the Spanish Amaya Muruzabal, second the literary trilogy success of Juan Gómez-Jurado (Red Queen, Black Wolf, White King), who won the Award for Best Foreign Novel at the Polar Festival of Cognac in 2022. The first season, composed of 7 episodes directed by Koldo Serra, it is the adaptation of the first volume. The series will be available on Prime Video from February 29th.
