Alienoid is available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray
In 2022, the 17th Korean Film Festival in Paris caused us some frustration Alienoid. First of all because the film ended with a cliffhanger that announced a second part. We knew then that we would have to wait a while to find out the end of this story. Then there was the frustration of thinking that in France only a handful of lucky people attending the festival that year had been able to take advantage this crazy blockbuster. Two years later, all this is now behind usAlienoid 2 was released in South Korea earlier this year. AND the first work is finally available in France thanks to the physical editions offered by Condor. An opportunity for a wider French audience to discover the film and revive the hope of seeing the sequel arrive here soon.
The French publisher offers three editions for Alienoid. A classic DVD box set, the Blu-ray version and 4K Blu Ray Edition, to allow everyone to discover the feature film. On the bonus side, the editions are enriched with two supplements that allow you to explore the universe and the director’s intention to mix eras and styles. We also discover that the production lasted more than a year, proof of the ambition behind this blockbuster, the biggest budget in Korean cinema. Sin These two videos are also short. They last only a few minutes each and do not allow us to delve much into the conception of the feature film.
A crazy, fun and explosive blockbuster!

But in reality it is a well-balanced lightness epic, fun and original entertainmenta real breath of fresh air compared to the usual American blockbusters.
In addition to Choi Dong-hoon’s rhythmic and explosive direction, the casting has a lot to do with the success ofAlienoid. We are always happy to see you again Kim Tae-ri From Miss, and here too it does not disappoint. Also standing out with her is Kim Woo-bin who sometimes plays the cold and professional Guardian, sometimes Thunder, her assistant with the most unconventional style and the first to break the rules. The only criticism to be made of the film concerns her numerous characters which can lose the viewer upon first viewing.
