FX is not ready to retire yet an old man.
Cable editing took over the second season of the drama, starring Jeff Bridges as a former CIA agent who was transported back to the world of espionage. The update comes in three episodes in the first season of the seven-episode show, which has gotten good ratings so far.
According to the novel by Thomas Perry, an old man Follow Dan Chase (Bridge), who left the CIA decades ago and lived off the grid. The show’s June 16 premiere had 975,000 viewers on its initial release, which is a strong showing in a ratings climate where a cable show written in just a few scripts breaks 1 million viewers on its airwaves.
