Jurassic World 4: the saga has not said the last word

After two film trilogies spread over three decades, the Jurassic saga seemed truly concluded with the release of the final part, The world afterin the summer of 2022. But this is without taking into account Universal’s desire to continue to benefit from these darling dinosaurs, which continue to attract millions of spectators in theaters (and generate billions of dollars in revenue).

Announced last January, this fourth part of the Jurassic World saga had a somewhat tumultuous start to production. In fact, the first director linked to the project, David Leitch, preferred to withdraw due to artistic differences. Universal has dated the film to summer 2025the studio was primarily looking for an executor, and not a visionary who would come up with new ideas for the saga.

This sad constant, however, was counterbalanced by the arrival at the helm of Gareth Edwards, known for being very comfortable with existing sagas (he had directed Rogue One: A Star Wars StoryAND Godzilla).

An eagerly awaited casting

According to initial information, this Jurassic World 4 will mark a new beginning for the saga, and will therefore not include the stars of previous films in its cast (old and new). Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard exit, who will then make way for the newcomers in the Jurassic saga.

However, Universal should try of a new star to bring the film and attract viewers to theaters. They are very knowledgeable on this topic Jeff Sneider (former Variety film reporter) learns that Scarlett Johansson has been offered the lead role in this new film. After Chris Pratt, she would therefore be another Marvel star to arrive among the dinosaurs.

For the moment these are rumors that only need to be officially confirmed. The film has been announced for July 2025, casting should be known very soon.
