Christopher Nolan, Anne Hathaway’s savior
On the occasion of the arrival on Prime Video of the romantic comedy The idea of being with you on May 2nd Anne Hathaway gave a long interview to the American magazine Vanity Fair. In particular, she returned to a complicated period in her career and in her life, as he faced a wave of ridicule. Fortunately he was able to count on Christopher Nolan.
Thus, in the mid-2000s, Anne Hathaway found herself the object of ridicule on the Internet, particularly after having he co-hosted the Oscars with James Franco in 2011. “Many people no longer wanted to cast me in roles for fear that the hate I received online would affect their projects.”
Between 2012 and 2013 we only see her in two films: Don Jon by Joseph Gordon Levitt in which he only has a cameo, and Don Peyote, by Dan Fogler went completely unnoticed. But luckily Christopher Nolan came along and gave her the role of Amelia Brand Interstellar.

And with Interstellar that Anne Hathaway regains the trust of Hollywood, and for this she has words very touching towards Christopher Nolan:
“Christopher Nolan was my guardian angel, he ignored all that and gave me one of the best roles I’ve had in one of the best films I’ve ever been a part of. I don’t know if he realized the time he took me supported, but it had that effect. If he hadn’t supported me like he did, I don’t know where my career would be.”
Before InterstellarChristopher Nolan had already directed Anne Hathaway The Dark Knight Rises in which she played the character of Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
