Mandy Moore is pregnant with her second child, which has made it difficult to continue the live tour schedule. The star announced on Tuesday that she will cancel the remaining dates on the show this year to focus on her health during her pregnancy.
“When we hired these shows I wasn’t pregnant and although I thought I would make it, our trip (many hours on the bus and adequate rest) was satisfactory, I took my losses and made it. “I feel very difficult to continue,” Moore wrote in a statement posted to Instagram. “I know I have to put my family and my health (and my baby’s health first) and the best place for me right now is at home.”
Earlier this month, Moore announced that she was expecting her second child with husband Taylor Goldsmith. The singer and actress posted the good news in an Instagram post on Friday, where her son was wearing a “Big Brother” T-shirt. “An incredibly important chapter in my life has ended and another, as a mother of two, must begin…and we are deeply grateful and excited,” she captioned the sweet photo. “Baby Boy Goldsmith #2 Coming This Fall!”
The It’s us Alum and Goldsmith were married in November 2018. The couple announced in February 2021 that they had their first child, August Harrison Goldsmith.
