Pink Floyd Dream will provide the sound for the film live
Due to the huge success and sold-out sessions, the event Pink Floyd – The Wall at Belas Sonoriza will have a new presentation. On June 23rd, at 2pm, the film will feature a live soundtrack from the band Pink Floyd Dream. Written by Roger Watersdirected by Alan Parker and with animations Gerald Scarfethe film narrates the rocker’s hallucinations Pink, who goes crazy in a Los Angeles hotel room. The story portrays his youth and his isolation from the world. Tickets, costing R$70 (full price) and R$35 (half price), can be purchased on the Belas website and at the box office.
The soundtrack, considered one of the band’s best albums, is performed live by Pink Floyd Dream, creating a unique experience by synchronizing the music with the film in real time. The film has few dialogues, being more metaphorical and driven by background music and animation sequences, directed by the political cartoonist Gerald Scarfe.
