In these images we can thus have a better overview of the four actresses who wear it Emilia Perez. An impressive collective performance, which earned them all the recognition of the Female Interpretation Award. Zoe Saldaña is Rita, lawyer and then friend of Emilia, played by Karla Sofía Gascón. Opposite this Emilia, Selena Gomez plays Jessica, her ex-wife, and Adriana Paz her girlfriend.
They are the ones who animate this film, for a great story of sisterhood, friendship and love, powerful bonds that they try to resist violence of the environment in which the transition of the “Manitas” Del Monte to its new identity takes place. The trailer makes the case at length that Jacques Audiard’s film is a true musical comedy, with many singing and dancing sequences by these actresses. But let’s not panic, far from having attempted this gesture casually, Emilia Perez can count on compositions written with passion and application by Camille and Clement Ducolfor a result as spectacular as it is intoxicating.
