But Guy Ritchie has chosen to offer a different perspective by focusing on a younger version of the character.

So, the show titled Young Sherlock will make us follow his adventures at the age of 19. It will be adapted from a screenplay written by Matthew Parkhill, inspired by the novel series Young Sherlock Holmes written by Andy Lane.

In the series, the hero will find himself involved a story of murder inside Oxford Universitywhich will threaten his freedom. Diving into his first case, the young detective will soon update himself a vast conspiracy that will change his life forever.

A casting already well underway

Colin Firth will play a character called Bucephalus Hodge Young SherlockThe main character of the series will be played by Hero Fiennes-Tiffin.
