“Out of an abundance of caution for the artist’s health,” Carlos Santana’s management company announced Friday night that the 74-year-old guitar legend will postpone his next six shows.

“We regret to inform you that Santana’s band has canceled tonight’s show at the Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana,” begins a statement from Michael Vrionis, president of Universal Tone Management. “And we’re postponing the July 9th show at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio; July 10 at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater — Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; on July 12 at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers, Arkansas; July 15 at the Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas; July 16 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas. Doctors recommended that Mr. Santana rest so he can make a full recovery.”

Live Nation will announce the rescheduled tour dates for Santana and all tickets for the new dates will be accepted.
