The Fantastic Four will return to the cinema in 2025
Several Marvel movies will hit the screens in 2025. After Captain America: Brave New World AND Lightningit will be the turn ofa highly anticipated feature film by fans of the Maison des Idées to reveal themselves. Fantastic Four will update the story of characters transformed into superheroes after being exposed to cosmic rays.
Praised for his work on the series WandaVisionMatt Shakman was then chosen by Marvel to direct this new version of the story of the characters created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. And The Fantastic Four artists have reunited for the start of filming.
Pedro Pascal shares first team photo
In Fantastic FourEbon Moss-Bachrach will play the Thing, while Vanessa Kirby will play Jane Storm and Joseph Quinn will play her brother, Johnny Storm. To round out the team of heroes, Mr. Fantastic will be played by Pedro Pascal. However, through his Instagram accountthe latter has just published a first photo of him and his co-stars reunited.
As a reminder, Kevin Feige revealed a few weeks ago that filming on Matt Shankman’s feature would begin at the end of July.
The first of many films?
Pedro Pascal accompanied his photo with a caption. He shared the message “Our first mission together.” This could mean thisa sequel is already planned Fantastic Four. Or even several. But it is important to remain cautious on the subject. Because for new feature films about the team of heroes to materialize, Matt Shankman’s film will undoubtedly have to be well received upon its release.
Fantastic Four will be released in French cinemas July 23, 2025. As explained by Kevin Feige a few weeks ago, the film will be set in a universe different from the MCU. It will take place in the 1960s in New York. However, it will be a different New York than our world at that time.
