If today the so-called reality shows are numerous in the French audiovisual landscape, at the beginning of the 2000s this was not the case at all. Bigdil OR Fort Boyard. But in 2001, a concept originating in the Netherlands and already widespread in several European countries changed the situation. Big Brother became History of the atticthe first reality show broadcast on M6. We then followed eleven candidates locked together for several weeks and constantly filmed by cameras.
Prime Video has decided to go behind the scenes of the show and its conception, with Worshipseries created and written by Nicolas Slomka and Matthieu Rumani and directed by Louis Farge. “Loosely inspired by true events“, the program will also show the search for candidates, including Loana Petruccianiplayed on screen by Marie Colomb, who the difficulties encountered by the production company. Between fiction and reality
As previously stated, Worship will mix fiction and real facts. So, some names have been changed, but we know that behind it is the producer Isabelle de Rochechouart, played by Anaïde Rozamis Alexia Laroche-Joubert, who later became the director of the Academy of the Stars. The latter is also in the production of the Prime Video series. In the press kit, she specifies that the character of Isabelle is inspired by her, but that she has notable differences.
Of course, Isabelle is inspired by the role I had in creating Loft Story, but I don’t feel like I see myself. It’s funny, of course. But more because of the differences than our similarities. The series tells the facts but the emotions belong to the character.
In addition to Marie Colomb and Anaïde Rozam, we find in the casting of Worship César Domboy, Sami Outalbali and Nicolas Briançon. Prime Video will broadcast the first of 6 episodes of 52 minutes each October 18th.
