Although Jason Momoa and Jared Leto are connected across the DC Extended Universe, their respective characters Aquaman and The Joker have never crossed paths. However, in real life, the actors apparently know each other quite well. Momoa and Leto recently reunited on vacation and clearly had a great time together.
Jared Leto shared a photo of him with Jason Momoa and mountaineer Chris Sharma somewhere in Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, located in the eastern Mediterranean of Spain. It is not clear exactly when these three were together, but it is worth noting that at the end of June Jason Momoa traveled to Lisbon, Portugal to attend the United Nations Conference on the Ocean 2022, where he received the natural reed from the hands of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for the Ocean. Portugal being a neighbor of Spain and therefore not far from Mallorca, it would have been quite easy for Momoa to get there after the conference. Regardless of whether their meeting with Jared Leto and Chris Sharma was pre-arranged or not, this trio had a lot of fun, so maybe the time will come when they venture together again.
As for whether Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and Jared Leto’s Joker will ever come face to face in DC movies, it seems unlikely. Although both appeared in Justice League by Zack Snyder, they didn’t share any screen time, as Joker only appeared in the Knightmare sequence at the end and Aquaman had already been killed by Darkseid in that apocalyptic (or should I say, apokolyptic) future. While Momoa will play Arthur Curry again next year aquaman and the lost kingdomIt’s unclear if we’ll ever see Leto’s Joker again. Between Barry Keoghan appearing as a proto-Joker in the Batman continuity and Joaquin Phoenix preparing to try Arthur Fleck in Jester sequel, we are well covered by Batman’s nemesis in the cinematic realm.
Outside of the DCEU, Jared Leto made his mark on another corner of the superhero genre by playing Morbius in Sony’s Spider-Man universe. The actor also recently starred opposite Anne Hathaway in the miniseries we crashed, available to Apple TV + subscribers. Meanwhile, with Jason Momoa, last fall saw him play the role of Duncan Idaho Dunesand will soon return as Baba Voss in the final season of the Apple TV + series. Watch. Momoa will also appear next year x fastthe penultimate voice of the main one Fast & Furious film series, as a villain yet to be identified.
