Miller’s Girla psychological thriller directed by Jade Halley Bartlett, is now available to stream on Prime Video in France. Released in the United States in January 2024, the film quickly attracted attention for its controversial plot and the debates it has sparked in the press and on social networks. The feature film stars Jenna Ortega and Martin Freeman in the lead roles and deals with a complex relationship between a teacher and his student.

The film’s story follows Cairo Sweet (Jenna Ortega), a talented eighteen-year-old writer, and her teacher, Jonathan Miller (Martin Freeman), a writer in decline. The latter, fascinated by the creative potential of his student, develops an ambiguous relationship with her, raising questions about power dynamics and moral limits in education.
