The official program of the nineteenth edition of was presented today at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome Rome Film Festival (from 16 to 27 October). Present at the conference: the new president of the Cinema per Roma Foundation, Salvatore Nastasiwho succeeded Gian Luca Farinelli, and the artistic director Paola Malanga. They will be 29 participating countries in the 2024 edition for a total of over 100 moviesstarting with the big pre-opening screening of Megalopolisawaited movie Francis Ford Coppola with a stellar cast in which he also appears Adam Driver.
Also this year, two Lifetime Achievement Awards will be given, one in Viggo Mortensen and the one of Johnny Deppwhere their second works as directors will also be shown, respectively The Dead Can’t Hurt And Modi.
So far, not all titles have been announced, the parallel and autonomous sections of the Festival are not included, Alice in the Citydedicated to cinema for young people and some surprises to be revealed in the coming weeks.
