The Disney-backed basic cable network has quickly renewed the second season of its critically acclaimed dark comedy starring Jeremy Allen White.
The series, which kicked off its eight episodes on June 23 on FX’s Hulu hub, has an impressive 100 percent rating with critics and a 92 percent rating with viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. THR TV critic Daniel Feinberg said in his review that the series from creator Christopher Storer (Rami, 8th grade) and his compatriot Joanna Kahlo (bojack the knight)”[n]Suffer the chaos of the kitchen, for better or for worse. “

Shameless Grad White stars in the series as a talented chef who returns home to Chicago to run his family’s diner after his brother commits suicide. Hiro Muray (atlanta), Nate Matheson (station eleven) and Josh Senior is also an executive producer on the series, produced by FX Productions.
