The Italian miniseries Deceived loveput online on October 9, it immediately attracted the attention of subscribers and ranked first in the Top 10 France. This erotic drama stars Giacomo Gianniotti, famous for his role as Andrew DeLuca in Grey’s Anatomy, in a much bolder register. Alongside actress Monica Guerritore, he plays Elia, a young man who has a passionate relationship with Gabriella, a 60-year-old woman at the head of a hotel empire and mother of three adult children.

Deceived love it is not an original creation, but a remake of the British series Doubtbroadcast in 2021 on France 2. In the original version, Julia Ormond and Ben Barnes played the two main characters, in a similar plot in which a wealthy woman in her sixties succumbs to the charms of a much younger man.
