Netflix production had cancellation confirmed by creator, Charlie Covell, last Thursday (10); undersigned for continuity exceeded 10 thousand participations
An online petition asking for the series to be renewed Kaosfrom the Netflixsurpassed 10 thousand signatures. The announcement of the cancellation of production after the first season took fans by surprise when the actress Aurora Perrineau posted a message, now deleted, on his Instagram thanking the production, last Monday (7).
The news has since been confirmed by the creator of Kaos, Charlie Covell (The End of the F*ing World) in a post on the producer’s Instagram profile sisterlast Thursday (10).

“Of course I’m devastated that I won’t do more Kaosbut I don’t want this news to overshadow what we did. I am incredibly lucky to have worked with such an exceptionally talented cast and crew, and I am extremely proud of our show.
Thank you to everyone involved: it was a herculean collective effort and a great privilege to work with you all.”
Fans were quick to express their dissatisfaction with the decision – on Thursday, a petition was signed on the website Change.org collected more than 3,200 signatures out of a target of 5,000 (via NME). This Monday (14), the number goes beyond 10 thousand signatures and sets a new target of 15 thousand participations.
Kaos
Kaos had as protagonist Jeff Goldblumwhich played a modern version of Zeus, and also featured Stephen Dillane as Prometheus, who in the series tries to overthrow the king of the gods with the help of three humans: Eurydice (Aurora Perrineau), Ariadne (Leila Farzad) and Ceneus (Misia Butler).
In the message posted last Thursday (10), the series creator also thanked the series’ supporters for the “love and enthusiasm” shown.
“I saw subreddits [publicações] that made my heart sing: the little details and Easter eggs that you noticed made my day many times over. I was thrilled with the positive responses to the program — thank you!”
The creator also mentioned that he saw a theory on Reddit about who or what it would be. Kaos which was “completely correct”.
